Since 2026, Findu has been modernized as Rebirth. The client is unified on uni-app; backend, location, and IM infrastructure were upgraded. Legacy native client records below are archived only — the old apps are no longer updated. Please install Rebirth for ongoing support.

Fixed unexpected crashes on iOS 27

In-app navigation: from a friend’s location or the map, choose drive, walk, or ride. Available inside China only.

Live Follow: in a meetup group, see online members’ location, heading, and speed, refreshing about every 2 seconds.

Rally point: during Live Follow, search for a place or pick a point on the map. Everyone in the session shares that point.

CarPlay (iPhone only): after connecting to a car, view friends, and start navigation or open Live Follow from the phone or the car.

Fixed known issues around navigation display, Android navigation, and message push.

Client rebuild: native iOS/Android projects replaced by uni-app (Vue3), one codebase for both platforms

Backend upgrade: modernized business APIs; GPS history moved to InfluxDB with Redis for latest location

Location: FinduLocation native plugin for foreground/background upload, throttling, and keep-alive guidance

Maps: Tianditu by default for friend locations and the relationship map

IM: migrated from Alibaba Baichuan to self-hosted OpenIM; chat requires an IM lifetime license — friends/location remain free

Privacy: optional end-to-end location encryption (keys / encrypted upload); see the Privacy Policy

Business continuity: login, profile/avatar, friends & groups, privacy settings, traces, request inbox, and more

Notice: do not use for illegal purposes; IM push is incomplete and may be delayed or missed

Legacy builds (Android 6.x and earlier native packages) are discontinued. Migrate to Rebirth for new features and security fixes.

The old app defaulted to Baidu Texture maps, which could crash on some older Android devices. That only applies to the archived builds below; Rebirth no longer uses that stack.

Historical native Android builds for reference only. The final legacy release was 6.42.21 (2017-11-21). Table text is kept in the original Chinese.
